Household Records Recovery Programme

A focused engagement for households whose paperwork has fallen into disorder after a stressful period — a move, a bereavement, an illness, or a long absence. A documentation coordinator works on site over five sessions, sorts what is present, identifies what is missing, helps the household request replacement copies of standard public records through the correct civil channels, and produces a clean working filing structure at close.

Family Operating Routine Consultation

A three-session consulting engagement for households that want clearer routines around how documents are filed, how regular bills are tracked, and how shared household responsibilities are recorded. Each session runs about ninety minutes, produces a small set of written household routines, and is followed by a short written summary for the household to keep.

What does an on-site visit actually involve? +

A coordinator arrives at a scheduled time, reviews the categories of paperwork you want addressed, and works methodically through them. You are present throughout, directing what is kept active, what is archived, and what may no longer be needed. The visit is unhurried and its output is written.

How long does each type of engagement take? +

The Annual Review is typically completed in a single visit of three to five hours, depending on the volume of records. The Records Recovery Programme runs across five separate sessions scheduled over two to four weeks. The Routine Consultation consists of three sessions of approximately ninety minutes each, spread over two to three weeks.

Will the coordinator handle or retain copies of our documents? +

Coordinators work with your documents in person but do not remove, photograph, or retain copies of any material. All records remain in your possession throughout and after the engagement. The written deliverable describes the structure established, not the content of individual documents.

Is this service available outside of Kuala Lumpur? +

Quietharbor primarily serves households in and around the Klang Valley. For households further afield in Peninsular Malaysia, availability can be discussed during the initial enquiry. Travel arrangements and any additional coordination time are disclosed clearly before any engagement is confirmed.

What types of records does the Recovery Programme help with? +

The programme is designed for general household paperwork — identity documents, property and tenancy records, utility and financial correspondence, insurance files, and similar material. Where standard public records need replacement, coordinators help you identify the correct Malaysian civil office and understand the standard request process. The work is administrative rather than interpretive.

How are the fees structured and when is payment due? +

Fees are per engagement, not per hour. A deposit is required to confirm a booking, with the balance due at the close of the engagement. The payment schedule for multi-session programmes is outlined in the engagement letter before work begins.

Does Quietharbor provide advice on financial, legal, or tax matters? +

No. Quietharbor's work is purely administrative and informational. Coordinators help households organise, locate, and file documents. They do not interpret financial records, advise on legal matters, or comment on tax-related paperwork. For those subjects, households should consult the relevant professionals.
